Letters to the Editor
Dear Editor:
Playing tennis "in the zone" has long been considered the ultimate in human performance on the tennis court. But "the zone" is not the sole property of the sport of tennis.
I would like to see what the Sports Psychology profession has to say about the experience of playing "in the zone." What is it? Why does it work? And, most importantly, how do you do it?
Thanks,
S. Ford

We appreciate the suggestion for a future issue. Look for an article on playing in the zone in the November, 1999 issue of Athletic Insight.
