Responsibilities of the Editor

The Editor of AI is responsible for:

1. Processing new submissions and revised manuscripts.

2. Making a final decision on the disposition of each manuscript based on the input of the Associate Editor and available reviewers.
3. Responding to feedback from readers.
4. Writing an Editorial section for each new issue.

Responsibilites of Associate Editors

Associate Editors for AI are responsible for:

1. Reviewing manuscripts directed to them by the Editor.

2. Assigning Peer Reviewers to review articles that are submitted for publication.
3. Recommnedations to the Editor of disposition of papers.
4. Responding to e-mail directed to them by the Editor.

Responsibilites of Peer Reviewers

Peer Reviewers for AI have the following responsibilites:

1. Review of articles directed to them by the Editor and Associate Editors in a timely fashion (four to six weeks unless special arrangements are made) with suggestions for authors.

2. Recommendations to the Editor and Associate Editors as to the disposition of papers.
3. Responding to e-mail directed to them by the Editor and Associate Editors.
